What you will do
- Develop the platform backend on Django and DRF
- Design the data schema and migrations for growing load
- Move heavy operations into background jobs
- Review middle developers' code and set the standards
What we expect
- 5+ years of commercial Python experience
- Deep Django: ORM, migrations, permissions, tests
- PostgreSQL at the level of query plans and indexes
- Experience with task queues (Celery, RQ or similar)
- English from Upper-Intermediate: daily calls with the client
Nice to have
- HIPAA or another regulated domain
- FastAPI in neighbouring services
- Mentoring experience
